My 2011 Plans

If I had not joined the ASQ Influential Voices program, I might not have written on my 2011 plans, Thank you ASQ.  I have come up with an implementable 5 point plan which is listed below:

1. Year 2010 has passed by so fast that I realized the need to improve on time management
2. To prevent from becoming obsolete, I need to improve on reading and staying up-to-date
3.  Learning is a continuous process. In 2011, I would like to do focused learning - planning to join a top B-School and do an executive doctorate program (applied for the same, awaiting results)
4.  I need to improve on networking. I will participate and contribute in ASQ and K-Community meets at Chennai
5.  Live Happy,  Exercise, Eat Healthy and Zero Tension ! - Will be my daily mantra.

ASQ - Voice of Quality

ASQ, American Society of Quality is more powerful now in spreading the "Voice of Quality".   To know further, check this out - http://asq.org/voice-of-quality/index.html.

On a regular basis, through Q Blog, I now can interact and learn from fellow ASQ members across the globe.  The topics and associated discussions are informative and insightful.  Communication has gone one level up and the communication specialists at ASQ doing a wonderful facilitation role. 

I see Knowledge Management 2.0 going hand-on-hand with Communication 2.0 and Quality 2.0,  raising the bar to next level.  I am proud to be associated with ASQ.

What motivates me?

More than a decade of work life, most of them in IT - What motivates me? Money, Promotion, Sophisticated life, Electronics goods, US Life .....  i am not sure !

Definitely,
     a good work successfully completed,
     a satisfaction in my daughter's face,
     a smile when I see or talk to my old friend,
    

and,
my mother, who lived for us !!!
